My name is Philippa Aldridge and I run Rosemary Conley Diet and
Fitness Clubs in Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and the surrounding area. I would like to help you become slimmer, trimmer, fitter and healthier.
I can really help you to shed your unwanted weight, whether you have a few pounds to lose or much, much more.

I too know how difficult it can be to lose weight. I used to weigh just over 17 stone but by following the Rosemary Conley diet and fitness programme I managed to lose 7 and a half stone.
I had been overweight since secondary school and up until 2002 I had tried every diet under the sun with little success – I usually ended up putting on weight rather than losing it! The Rosemary Conley programme was the answer to my prayers.
Before becoming a Rosemary Conley franchisee I worked as an employee for four of the local franchisees as a cover instructor. I also worked as a fitness consultant in a gym and taught numerous classes at the local leisure centre. Before that I was a Science teacher for 7 years.
I started running this franchise in September 2008 and since then our members have lost an incredible amount of weight, increased their fitness levels an

d improved their health.

Lucy Roberston is one of our successful slimmers. Lucy joined us in 2008 and lost an amazing 4 stone. She enjoyed the classes so much that she decided to train as a Rosemary Conley instructor and now covers classes for us. Lucy also featured on the front cover of the May 2011 Rosemary Conley magazine.

As a club we also run many activities. We have run trips to the Vitality Show, Champneys, the Christmas markets in Birmingham, Wicked the Musical in London, Hairspray the Musical in Oxford, the Rosemary Conley Roadshow, Grease the Musical in Oxford and attended a weekend bootcamp.
We also run charity events on a regular basis. In 2011 we have raised money for the Starlight Foundation through a "Wear it Wacky" week; for the Pink Ribbon Foundation through a Pink week; and for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Hounds for Heroes through a two hour Zumba Party and a Gift, Craft and Clothing sale. Sixty five people attended our Zumba Party and two of our members, Jane Owen and Sally Houseman, completed the event dressed as dalmations! In total we have raised over £3500 for charity in 2011.

As ours is the only national organisation to offer dietary advice AND exercise in the same weekly class, there is no better place for you to lose weight and get fit. A typical class consists of a weigh-in, a short motivational talk offering nutritional help and advice and the all important
exercise to music workout, which lasts for just 45 minutes and focuses on fun and enjoyment.
If you do want to join in the exercise session please bring with you a bottle of water and wear loose, comfortable clothing and a pair of training shoes. Many members wear leggings and a T-shirt, but whatever you feel happy exercising in is fine with us.
My classes cost just £6.00 and we are currently offering Free membership. If you are staying for the exercise session, the class lasts for approximately 90 minutes.
My classes are fun, friendly and welcoming. No one is made to feel embarrassed and your weigh-in is very discreet, so, apart from myself and my staff no one else will know how much you weigh. If you’re thinking of joining on your own, as many of our members do, there’s no need to worry: you’re soon amongst friends at a Rosemary Conley class.
